Barbara Kreitman

A fine art graduate of San Jose State University, Barbara put aside her painting career to become a successful Art Director and Graphic Designer in Palo Alto for several years.  A move to Carmel with her husband and children in 2001 inspired her to begin painting again.  She is now an award-winning artist whose artwork is in private collections across the United States and Europe.  One of her paintings is now part of the George Blair Collection at the Crocker Museum of Sacramento.

Her paintings range from semi-abstract figurative and landscapes to nonobjective abstract.  They are boldly and expressively painted in oil paint with palette knives and brush.
